This preacher stands on this...

Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Who are these people? Where did they come from? these are those who were in paradise which included Abraham and Lazarus, until the Lord's resurrection.

According to these passage of scripture , these people have bodies.
Both in paradise and in hell, people have bodies long before Jesus rose from the dead.

The rich man who died and went to hell can feel the fires of hell, sees abraham ( Abraham sees him too) and requested for a drop of water and points to his tongue.

At the time of death, as soon as the soul departs from his natural body, it is given a body different from his natural body. (1 Cor. 15)

The subject concerning the state of the dead is as misunderstood as the doctrine of church ( local church onlyism, Baptist brider, authority) and Bible versions . I stand alone in the word of God... the B-I-B-L-E.... King James Bible.

2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

The Christian, when he dies, immediately departs from his dead body and goes to be with the Lord in heaven. correct? correct. It's very plain. He is not in the grave sleeping and awaiting God's call.
' fallen asleep' (1 Cor. 15:6) ,' sleep in Jesus' ( 1 Thess. 4:13,14) refers to the believer's body in relation to this world... dead . The world sees the departed christian as dead in view of a buried body, but spoken of as sleeping because the living Christians and unbelievers alike shall see them alive and well and on their feet again.
The question is, in heaven right now , do they have a body?

This preacher stands on this...

Job 14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
Where do you go when you die? You either find yourself in heaven or hell not long after you close your eyes in death. No, not longer than 24 hours to be dogmatic about it, that is if you want a concrete Biblical support. Read Luk 23:43 (And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. ) When a man dies, ' he gives up the ghost': that is , the soul departs from the body. Hence, Job asks, where is he?
note: I believe that as soon as man dies, he wakes up and finds himself either in heaven or hell.
Luk 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
There goes the doctrine of soul sleep. It is absurd. It's a myth. Saved and unsaved alike do not go to a state of unconsciousness longer than 24 hours. Abraham and the rich man were talking to each other, and Lazarus was being requested to deliver a message to the rich man's brothers. The rich man says he is tormented ' in this flame'. Where will you be after you close your eyes in death?
